regularly scheduled weekly sailing’s from Fernandina
Beach (Jacksonville),
as well as Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale)
to the ports of Puerto Cabello, Isla
Margarita, Guanta, La Guaira
and Maracaibo in Venezuela.
In the
Caribbean, King Ocean Services de Venezuela offers regularly scheduled weekly
sailing from Fernandina Beach and Port Everglades to Port
of Spain in Trinidad, as well as Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao in
the Netherlands Antilles.
Northbound
service from both markets is provided for importers to the U.S. on a
regular basis.

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION

DRY FREIGHT CONTAINER
Also
known as dry van, this container type handles most customer commodities. It
is either 20“, 40“ or 45“feet long, and made of steel or aluminum

REEFER CONTAINER
This
refrigerated container is capable of maintaining a constant, pre-set
temperature and is powered by the vessel at sea. When docked at the
terminal or on the move overland, a generator attached to the motor carrier
chassis powers it.

|
BULK CONTAINER
This
is an upgraded dry container, developed especially for bulk cargo such as
grains and malt. Major features include discharging hatches to facilitate
loading, and treated plywood interiors for easy cleanup and elimination of
cargo residue.

|
HI - CUBE CONTAINER
The hi
- cube container is one foot taller (9“ 6““) than the standard container
(8“ 6““). This provides customer with added cubic space that may be needed
to meet minimum load rates.

OPEN TOP CONTAINER
This
container has a removable canvas top that facilitates direct loading and
unloading by crane or forklift.

|
TANK CONTAINER
The
tank container carries up to 4.000 U.S. gallons in liquid form. The
container is double - walled with four inches of insulation between the
walls. An exterior gauge continually
monitors its temperature.

FLAT RACK CONTAINER
The
flack rack container has no roof but has sidewalls made from removable
posts. This equipment is ideal for extra - large cargo such as unboxed
machinery and construction equipment.

GARMENT ON HANGER CONTAINER
The
garment on hanger (GOH) container is designed to meet the needs of apparel
shippers. Available in 20
foot and 40 foot lengths, GOH containers hold
apparel in a secure, and easily transportable manner.
